The music department has two major dedicated teaching areas. The music studio is a spacious and acoustically well-balanced room that is particularly well used for the many orchestral and group practices that occur at lunchtimes and after-school on a weekly basis. It is also used as a small performance area and has a mezzanine balcony that can record music and make tapes. The main teaching room is equipped with electronic interactive whiteboards, computers, keyboards and guitars. In addition that there are soundproofed music practice rooms for the teaching of individual instruments by the 14 peripatetic teacher that complement the work of the permanent music staff.

The main performance area for drama is the St Bride's Hall which has a back projected large screen and flexible staging to complement the normal sound and light equipment.
