Clarendon
The Clarendon experience is simply unique. As a listed building the physical surrounding is charming both inside and out and we aim to emphasise these features to further enhance the feeling of community for all of our children whilst also providing a hi-tech and relevant education for the 21st Century.
We often talk about the Clarendon family and that is how we think of ourselves. We pride ourselves on our happy atmosphere where good manners and behaviour are expected from everyone and there is a mutual respect between staff and pupils.
A high standard of academic work is expected in Clarendon but all pupils are also encouraged to take part in the greater life of the school and there are huge opportunities to participate in a whole manner of extra activities such as the well-known Clarendon Singers or playing in the football club.
As they progress through Clarendon the children gradually learn to work more independently, tackle problems confidently and acquire those skills needed to take full advantage of the opportunities provided for them in Transitus and Secondary.
