Nursery

In our Nursery we aim to offer a high quality, flexible service. Under the watchful eye of our Head of Nursery, Mrs Josephine Reynolds, our children are constantly engaged in active learning within a loving and safe environment.

At Lomond Nursery we work with the Scottish Early Years Curriculum (3-5) to provide an effective learning platform for mathematical, linguistic, environmental, scientific and aesthetic appreciation. Through this, and also our promotion of tolerance and understanding of others, we aim to prepare our children for a smooth transition to school and beyond by establishing learning patterns for the future.

We are also lucky to have a fabulous garden which the children have lots of access to.

Our links with parents and with other areas of the school are close and can be read about in other areas of the website.

Lomond Nursery is regularly inspected by the CARE commission and less frequently by HMI. We have been delighted to be held in high regard by these regulatory bodies in recent years.
