PTA

Lomond has a very active PTA which serves the entire school community from Nursery through to Senior 6. Representatives of parents, teachers and governors meet regularly to discuss issues of mutual interest and to organise social events. Fund raising does take place to support specific aspects of school provision. For example the PTA has recently funded equipment for the Transitus playground. All parents are automatically members of the PTA and are encouraged to take an active role in their activities. The PTA has its own website linked below.

A distinctive feature in recent years has been a series of Parent Forums which consist of presentations and discussions centring on particular themes such as careers, internet safety, catering and the Personal Development Framework.
