Regular extra-curricular

Every day there is a programme of extra-curricular activities that embraces some fifty sporting, dramatic, artistic, outdoor, musical and other clubs. An extra-curricular fair is put on by the Sixth form at the start of the autumn term and they play an active role in assisting with the programme which takes place at lunch-times and after school. Pupils are strongly encouraged to get involved and are monitored and reported on for their approach in this area. Some strands like sport are compulsory in the lower years of secondary but the vast majority are voluntary. The activities are posted on the daily bulletin.
